What is Scentsy? Take My Money Now!
I’ve always been a fan of Scentsy products. I’m a big fan of them, because for how much I love candles, they’re not always the safest around the kids, the scents aren’t always as strong. Also Scentsy has seriously step up its game and added a ton of other products, not just “candles”. Like they have a laundry section, which I haven’t been on the site in some time, so I didn’t have a clue. But found my new favorite section, let me tell you. The scents alone sound amazing. My long time friend from high school, Ashley asked me to review a few products from her. Ashley has also grace us with not one but two giveaways! Awesome right?
What is Scentsy?
A safe, flame-less, wick-less alternative to scented candles and so much more. This concept uses decorative ceramic warmers to melt scented wax with the heat of a warming plate. The wax never gets to a “burnt” heat. There are 85 difference fragrances in the wax range. There’s also other fragrance products including Buddies, scent paks, scent circles, room sprays, bath & body products and laundry care. Scentsy bars are made from food grade paraffin wax and all products are gluten, toxin and animal cruelty free.
I received the Coconut Lemongrass in the Washer Whiffs. The Coconut Lemongrass is a creamy, tropical coconut and sunny, bright lemongrass. The smell is simply amazing, calming, not over-powering great smell. Makes the laundry smell amazing. You can get it in a 16 oz for $12.00 and a 48 oz tub for $30.00. You’re also able to check how often you want it. Just a one time deal, once a month, twice a month or three times a month. That’s really neat, knowing my laundry record, I need an endless amount, because I’m always doing laundry, haha.
I received the Coconut Lemongrass in the Dryer Disks. The Coconut lemongrass is a creamy, tropical coconut and sunny, bright lemongrass. So this one is simply amazing as well as the Washer Whiffs. It’s good up to 15 loads. Which is about a week with the amount of laundry I do a week. You get two disk per box and each box is $7.00. So about 30 loads of laundry per a box. Just like the Washer Whiffs, you can get these just one at a time, once a month, twice a month or three times a month.
I received the Blue Diamond Shade in the Lampshade Collection. The Lampshade Collection is stunning and colourful hand-blown glass vases rest on antiqued warmer bases, projecting lustrous patterns and warm rays. Every Lampshade Collection Warmer is exquisitely crafted to shine a whole new light on your personal fragrance experience. The Blue Diamond Shade is a brilliant diamond shapes adorn this stunning glass cylinder, casting spellbinding patterns in sky blue. I’ve always had a plug in one before or just one you use as a night light. I’ve never had the actual lampshade one. This one is really beautiful, stunning really, by far my favorite Scentsy product. The scent I got was Very Snowy Spruce, Breathe in fresh forest air: balsam, spruce, and cedar branches embrace the warmth of amber and woody pine cones. I love it, because it’s very Christmasy and smells like Christmas trees, who doesn’t enjoy that smell?

I have always loved Scentsy products. The scented tarts are always so pretty smelling and the burners are always so cute & festive.
Yes, Scentsy does a great job being unique with their warmer selections. You can get this type of “festive” warmers and quality anywhere else!

It’s great to know that there are different fragrances in the wax range. I’ve always wanted to try Scentsy products since I’ve learned that they’re gluten-free and also animal cruelty-free. The Holiday fragrance looked enticing!
80+ scents to choose from but you can’t go wrong. 🙂 They all smell amazing! Each scent comes with a description of the scent that will help you choose!
I’ve heard so many great things about Scentsy recently, and I have to say that a wickless/ fireless alternative to a candle is really appealing with a toddler in the house. I love the smell that candles give off, but I’ve been trying new ways to get that: room sprays, plug ins, etc. I’m definitely entering the contest to see if I win!

Thinking of what gifts to give this Christmas for those that I’m not really close with becomes difficult especially when shopping at the last minute. Thanks to this post, I now have an idea on what to give them. Everyone must love to have a Scentsy dryer disk with cool scents! The warmers also sound great with those fresh fragrances in the air at home.

Wow….! EIGHTY FIVE scents??!!! I’d go sniff-happy around them, and would definitely want to smell them all. 😀 I’ve never heard of Scentsy before, but I like the range of options, and the aesthetic choice of container. It definitely becomes more of a lifestyle/interior decorating accessory than other, older options that look clunky and obvious, in contrast. Thanks for the write-up!

I love Scentsy products! In fact, we have a Snowman one on right now for the holidays! And of course in the bathrooms too!
I just LOVE the plugin ones that do great in bathrooms. Although smaller they can really make a statement while making the room smell amazing for your guest! They are not small like most plugins. Scentsy plugins standout and are a high quality product.

I love these kinds of things. I haven’t ever tried scentsy though, and I’m thinking I may have to. I love my house smelling lovely!
We don’t have Scentsy here yet, but I’ve read so much about it from other bloggers. I find the wick-less and flame-less concept awesome – it would be perfect for those living in condos because it’s very safe.
So true R U S S. I was never much of a candle burning person but owned a lot of candles. I think because I was always scared to keep them lite. So different with Scenty! You can keep your warmers on ALL the time! Other warmers “Cheaper” warmers have warning that you can’t keep them on or should turn them off when not at home. No such warning on the Scentsy warmers. They are warmed with either a 15 watt bulb, 20 watt bulb, 25 watt bulb or heating plate. Depends on which warmer you choose. The wax will never get to burn temperature. Scentsy is such a safe alternative to candles!
I also love the room sprays…..AMAZING!!!!!!! My daughter request me to spray her bed at night before bed. She is my little Scentsy girl. 🙂

I’ve heard of scentsy before from other bloggers but i’ve never tried it. I’ve always loved candles that i never really thought to make a switch. the coconut lemongrass sounds like it would smell really good though. 🙂 i usually like really subtle scents.

I really love candles but had to stop using them because the scent that they gave off was too strong and it was making me feel nauseous. But, these look amazing and considering that you said the scent isn’t too strong, I think this will be on my next decorating venture. Plus my mom loves, loves candles–so may to choose from!
Whoa I did not know that Scentsy had scents for the washer & dryer. I will have to check out the new laundry scents and narrow down what I want to try first.
I love Scentsy! I feel so much safer having Scentsy stuff in the house instead of candles, especially with a dog and a kid always running around. Plus when I’m leaving the house I don’t have to feel paranoid that I left a candle burning and it might burn the house down! I would love to try some of the new scents!

Can you believe I had no idea what these were? I’ve heard about them for ages, but figured they were just like “normal” candles. I’m really not a candle fan because I hate spending $20 for one and then just have it stop working because of a wick flaw. I am definitely going to have to give these a try. Thanks!
Cherri, yes you should give Scentsy a try! Also another flaw about a candle is once you get tired of the scent you have to buy another one, throw yours away or store it somewhere. Scents however, you could change out the scents everyday if you wish! Buy a few different scents, put a couple of cube in the warmer, want to try and different scent the next day? Simply pour the warmed wax back into the container (if it still has a scent) and replace it with a different scent. You can warm different scents in different rooms too if you have multiple warmers! 🙂 You will LOVE it, give it a try!
I have a Scentsy warmer in every room of my house! Skinny Dipping was always my favorite scent, but the winter ones are quite nice too. I love having a plug in warmer for the bathroom, and I frequently switch them out. I haven’t tried the Layers products yet though, but I know I will soon!

I have a couple Scentsy warmers and love them. My favourite scents are Coconut Lemongrass and Just Breathe. I love burning them and having my entire house smell yummy.
