Go On A Musical Adventure With Poppy & the Brass Band | Poppy & the Orchestra

Go On A Musical Adventure With Poppy & the Brass Band | Poppy & the Orchestra

When I stumbled across Poppy & the Brass Band and Poppy & the Orchestra — they keep the kids entertained for a few hours, so I can have 5 minutes to myself. After my divorce, I had to completely restart the book collection I had for my kids. I’m always looking for new and exciting books for the kids to read to each other. I totally lucked out with kids who LOVE to read, I can’t be more proud.

Poppy and the Brass Band – $12.58

Poppy & the Brass Band | Poppy & the Orchestra

Go on a musical adventure to the circus with an adorable pup named Poppy. Poppy and the Brass Band takes kids on an adventure with Poppy she meets new friends who introduce her to the sounds of the musical instruments of a brass band. With 16 buttons to push and hear, children will be whisked to a different world while listening to the sounds of the different instruments and follow along with the story.

With colorful illustrations and a new sound to discover on each page, both kids and parents will be entertained and engaged from cover to cover. Poppy and the Brass Band offers an opportunity to teach kids about classical music and the instruments in a brass band, so don’t wait any longer, grab a horn and join Poppy!

Poppy and the Orchestra – $12.58

Poppy & the Brass Band | Poppy & the Orchestra

Go on a musical adventure to the symphony with Poppy, the most adorable and friendliest dog you’d ever meet! On this adventure Poppy will meet new friends who introduce her to the sounds of orchestral instruments.

With 16 buttons to push and hear, kids will love listening to the sounds of the different instruments as they follow along with the story. Poppy and the Orchestra is filled with colorful illustrations by Magali Le Huche, and features a new sound to discover on each page, making it a book that both kids and parents will be entertained by and engaged with from one reading to the next.

Poppy and the Orchestra offers an opportunity to teach kids about classical music and the instruments of the orchestra. Now that is truly unique!

Magali Le Huche was born in Paris. She studied illustration in Strasbourg, then returned to Paris where she has illustrated more than forty books for children, some of which she also wrote. She regularly teaches art workshops for young people.

I had the kids over the last week for their Spring Break, it was short but amazing! During that time, we had storybook time at least twice each day. My oldest son loves reading books to his younger brother. It’s the sweetest things honestly. They both really enjoyed these books. While my oldest read the books, he let his brother push the buttons.

I’m a huge fan of how the illustrator has really painted a picture of how music can be educational and fun for children of all ages. I really believe that music can be fun for all ages, I caught myself reading the books while playing the different instruments along the way. There are two other books in this collection, I am totally going to get them for the kids at Christmas.

Sound books are a love and hate relationship for me, but these I may tolerate due to the insurgents. I’m a band geek and I love how it introduces instruments with the books. Will probably grab them soon for my LO’s.

It’s a good way to encourage music and reading from as young an age as possible. It stays with them their whole lives
