I’ve lived in places where the downtown wasn’t much and you really have to travel for things to do, something more then a Walmart parking lot (because that’s what we really do in small towns). That was until I went to Greenville, South Carolina earlier this year and it’s my favorite place to visit. There’s so much more to do in a weekend, there’s something for everyone there.
While most people haven’t done much traveling in 2020, I think the place I’ve been to the most this year would be Greenville, South Carolina. Okay, I may of been going to South Carolina to see a boy, but I had soon found out that there was many things to fall in love with there as well.
Places To Eat
There’s so many options when it comes to places to eat when you’re in Greenville. I’m going to share with my favorite places I always go to when I’m in town, though I should really try something new when I go there.
Sticky Fingers Ribhouse
Home of the best barbecue from Greenville to Chattanooga. You might’ve heard of our legendary Memphis-style hickory-smoked ribs, wings, and barbecue, but there’s more to us than our award-winning food (and rugged good looks).
UP on the ROOF
Featuring unparalleled views, high rise hand-crafted cocktails, artisan wines, craft beers and a small plates menu that highlights locally-sourced seasonal ingredients, UP on the Roof is a uniquely Greenville experience. Whether you’re looking for the perfect midday retreat or you simply want to spend a night in the clouds.
Sully’s Steamers
This isn’t your ole’ plain bagel and cream cheese kind of shop. At Sully’s, we believe the world’s best sandwiches let off steam. Steamers packed with fresh, delicious ingredients melted together into an explosion of flavor. That kick back, take-a-load-off kind, the “Man, that hit the spot” kind. That’s what Sully’s is all about, so come in, eat up, and let off a little steam.
Let me tell you right now, BEST BAGELS EVER. There’s so many choices, but I always get the same thing. These bagels are so amazing. I wish we had one closer to us, I try to go there each time I’m there. You will thank me!
Tropical Grille
We prepare everything fresh, from scratch to order, to give that authentic flavor to please your taste buds. We provide our customers a fast healthy and affordable meal using only the freshest and finest local ingredients, as well as cage-free all-natural chicken.
Can’t decide where to go to eat? You could just wait for the Food Trucks to come to you. Some of the city’s freshest, most interesting, and innovative tastes are rolling around on four wheels, stopping in at parks, festivals, events, and around town on no-special-reason days like say, a Wednesday. Below are all registered food trucks in the City of Greenville! Happy taste testing!
