I’ve been on this DIY projects kick lately and we thought glitter dipped wine glasses would be perfect. Here’s a super simple way to make your drink ware a tad bit fancy with the glitter dipped wine glasses. My friend, Kristine and I were at Target the other day looking for the perfect glasses for this project.
We decided to go with the 4 pack of wine glasses, they were the perfect size for this project. But honestly you can use whatever type of drinking glass you want to do, it doesn’t have to be a wine glass. Heck, I drink vodka in my wine glass, so there’s that.
What You Need For Glitter Dipped Wine Glasses:
- 4 pack 12 oz glasses
- mod podge with foam brushes
- extra fine glitter (any color you want)
First off, you take the foam brush and add the mod podge to the bottom of the wine glass. Add the glitter to a plate or bowl, so it leaves room to dip the wine glass into the glitter. You can do as many layers as you want to do. When you’re done, give it a nice layer of the mod podge finish.
Some other options would be to get short drinking glasses, you could do the glitter on half the cup, then add some vinyl, there’s plenty of awesome vinyl stickers you can find on Etsy. If you wanted to try a different glitter design check out these craft design files for inspiration.
