Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs’ the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what.

Family Isn't Always Blood | Tyler Ward Family | #BehindTheBlogger

Have you ever had a group of friends that were more like your family? When you get those people in your life, never let them go. A friendship like that is rare these days, hold on to them. At my age, people come and go, I’ve learned who to keep and who to drop. But it’s different, when I became friends with other people who have a common interest.

Tyler Ward, that’s right, Tyler’s music brought us all together. People from all over the world and all ages.. It all started with a project we made to Tyler. A few fans put together a, “Tyler, what you mean to me..” and how your music changed my life type of collab with other fans. That’s what started it. First it was a facebook group chat, then I made the suggestion, that it should be a group. That was the first step to the best decision I ever made.

No matter what happens in our regular life, we had life lines of people we can trust, people who didn’t judge. We had best friends we could tell anything to. I’ve learned over the years, when you’re dealing with your inner demons, it’s best to have a good support group around you. I didn’t always have that, but I do now.

A year later, Tyler went on tour and a bunch of us met up at different concerts and it was perfect. I think that bond we made at concerts, really brought us together more. We have put together many collages and special videos together for Tyler.

I don’t look at us, like a bunch of fans of a music artist, I think of us like family. We’re a family and I love each and everyone of them are more than just fans, more than just strangers, we are family.

People come and go, but once in a while you meet someone who is suppose to be in your life and your heart goes, “Oh there you are. I’ve been looking for you.” You’re found a member of your tribe. Friends come and go, but a true friend sticks to you like family. Proverbs 18:24.

Did you enjoy, “Family isn’t always blood?”
