Nestled in the heart of the Old Dominion State, Orange VA, is a town that exudes charm, history, and natural beauty. Explore the best of this quaint town with our list of ten must-visit places that capture the essence of Orange VA.
In 2010, I relocated to Orange VA with my ex-partner after his Army service. Our move was from Frederick, MD. For those unfamiliar, Orange, VA is quite remote, often referred to as “BFE” (in the middle of nowhere).
The nearest mall is a solid 45-minute drive, and our local amenities included a Food Lion, Dollar General, and Roses. Although I left in 2015, I occasionally miss the serene beauty of the place; my kids still reside there, and it remains a calm and collected haven.
