I plan on stocking up on these books for my kids if I get custody of them this summer, none the less, I think it’s great for them to have because 3 of the 4 kids are really young and don’t fully understand what’s going on.

It’s nice to see so many children’s authors tackling tough subjects like divorce. It can be hard for kids to understand what is going on and this puts it in their language.

As much as it would be nice to avoid something like this, divorce is sometimes unavoidable. At least we have books to help explain that to the children. Thanks for the list! I’m sure it will help a lot of parents.

In a perfect world we wouldn’t need books like these. But since we do, I’m thankful for those who have tackled a hard subject to make them available to children. There’s something about a child reading a book they can say, “Me, too” while reading. I’m thankful to have the list.

I know that these will help kids understand the situation better, I just personally find it a little “weird” that there’s a “happy” and “children’s” way of seeing it. I guess this” work, I would recommend books about lasting relationships though.
