I’m always looking for ways to better my snack making choices and I’ve found out that making your own trail mix is an easy way to meet that goal of healthier choices. A good trail mix needs two things, something sweet & something salty. The best way to get the best of both worlds is mixed dried fruit & nuts together. I went to Food Lion recently and stood in front of the isle looking at all the mixed nuts and dried fruit. Ended up with a bag of sunflower seeds, a bag of mixed nuts and 3 different kinds of dried from StoneRidge Orchards.

StoneRidge Orchard has so many amazing options to choose from and they also have dried fruits, organic, chocolate, and Greek yogurt lines as well, I ended up with a bag of peaches, mixed berries & cherries.

Stoneridge Orchards is the juiciest dried fruit you can feel good about eating all year long! That’s because their fruit is grown alongside the fertile mountain of Washington State with fresh water from the Columbia River and loads of sunshine all summer long. All of their fruit is non-GMO with no artificial colors or flavors, and they pick it and process it within 5 hours! It’s a family-owned company that has been growing fruit for three generations.

Out of the three, I think the cherries ones are the best! I ate half of the bag, before I was even able to mix it with the trail mix, haha. The peaches look like tongues, but they’re great too. The mix berries are swell as well.
