I am always on the look out for books for the kids. So when I stumbled upon Bookroo a book subscription box, I was simply in love with them. Now that 3 out of the 4 are able to read, when they come visit for the summer break. I try to have a good collection of books for them to have. There’s nothing more special, than a child that loves to read – if you ask me.
Basically, Bookroo is a monthly book subscription box for children ages 0-2 who receive 3 board books and children 2-6 who receive 2 paper back book with pictures. But in all honestly all of my kids enjoy reading them. Hannah who is going into the 1st grade next year was able to read both books, which as a mom that made me very excited. Book subscriptions start at $17.99 for one month. If you sign-up with your email on the website you can get a 15% off on your order.
A Dog Is A Dog, this book begins by talking about the characteristics of a dog. It has vivid and fun illustrations and fonts throughout, and then suddenly the dog descriptions transfer to those of a cat. After the cat is described, a squid is. After the squid, a moose is described, which finally brings the story back to the dog. This is achieved by rhymes.
Mother Goose’s Pajama Party , The author pays homage to 15 classics, all wrapped up in a brand new story that will appeal to every toddler or preschooler. The rhyming is fast paced and well written, creating a smooth read aloud flow that makes this an excellent choice for a sleepy themed story time or a bedtime read. When you’re done reading the book, there’s all 15 classic rhymes at the end of the book, the kids were excited they knew most of them.
Overall, I would totally recommend Bookroo to anyone with young children who love reading like my children do. This is the perfect book subscription box for grandparents and parents. These were a hit in our home and I bet would be in your home too. The children keep picking them up to read them throughout the day. They are going to become a summer break tradition, reading these every night before bed.

That is such a cute subscription box for kids! I love anything that encourages kids to read more, and I’m always looking for book-related gifts for my niece (and nephew, although he’s still a little too young). Looks like they send some really great books! Your kids are absolutely adorable!
I feel reading books to small children, as well as teaching older children to read, is extremely important. A bookroo subscription would be a great tool for starting kids at a younger age, progressing to older ages. Being we have grand children, this might be something to look into!
I had no idea there was a subscription box for children’s books! When my kids were little, we were forever checking books out from the library and sitting down together to read. Both my son and daughter have children about this age and would love something like this. In fact, I’m going to sign them both up for the service. I know they’ll be thrilled. Thank-you so much!
My grandson would love this subscription box, that boy loves to read. Each one of these books look very interesting and I’m sure the illustration inside is adorable! I may look into this for him during the holidays, the Bookroo Book Subscription would make a great gift.
I think that there is a subscription box for everything now! That being said, I have only found a few that really seemed worth it to me, and this book subscription one looks like something that I would like to check out more. We do get free books via the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, giving my kids one free book a month. We also visit the library frequently in the summer to expand our book selection.
Wow! This is a steal! I love reading with my kids and this subscription would be a great way to build our book collection. Thank you for sharing this with us!
I have not paid for a subscription box yet. There are so many to chose from, and some , like this one look well worth it. I have a greandaughter with a birthday coming soon, this might be a good idea for a gift.
There is a subscription box for everything!! This is one I would really be interested in for both of my kids. They both really enjoy reading and looking at books. I think this would be a great Christmas gift idea.
This is great! My Kiddies used to be part of a free book club but it ended once they each turned 5. I would love to give this a try because books are one of their favorite things and I love their faces when they get a new one to read.
What a cute idea! I love getting subscription boxes, they are such a great way to have a fun surprise come every once in a while! Having one focused towards getting kids into reading is so awesome!
When I was a kid, I used to love getting book choices. Wish this was around then but it was also so much fun because I liked the different adventures you get to take with books!
This is such a nice way for kids to get excited about reading. Kids love surprises and of course gifts. I’m definitely going to check this out for my little guy.
This is really cool. I buy my granddaughter, who is only 16 months old, books all the time.
Educational and fun gift for the kid!
