  1. Thanks for all these inspirational quotes. I had a bad mood about life in the first week of this month. But now, with the help of friends, family, and some online sites like yours, I am coping up fast. You’re right – life may not be perfect, but I realize that I am super blessed and I am thankful for what I have and will have.

    1. That’s really great to hear.. I’m glad you’re out of that funk.. I have more quotes to come..

  2. This was a great post to read on a cold Monday morning in Chicago. I especially love the quote about it being a bad day, not a bad life. Sometimes people can get so wrapped up in one small thing that went wrong that they become super negative about life. Thankfully I have cut a ton of these people out of my life and things have been so much less negative and drama filled. Will be pinning your post since the quotes were so great!

    1. I hope you’re staying warm up there!! I’m waiting for this nonsense of a winter storm that’s suppose to hit VA.. lol

  3. I so needed this today. I love the first quote – that it’s just a bad day not a bad life. I have to remind myself of that (far too often). I think trying to focus on positive things in our life is what helps us get through the rough patches.

  4. I gravitate toward quotes, I find them encouraging and motivational. I have so many favorites depending on what I’m focused on and what is happening in my life. I had shared one recently, but I’d love to share it again. “From every human being there rises a light that reaches straight to Heaven, and when two souls that are destined to be together find each other, their streams of light flow together, and a single brighter light goes forth from their united being.” – Baal Shem Tov This is one that we have in etching framed over our fireplace, it was one of those quotes that jumped out at me and touched me to my core. I’ve also found Leo Buscaglia and Mother Teresa to have said some profound words that help to provide a focus to our lives and what is really important.

    1. Wow that is a really beautiful quote.. it is really deep, i love it..

  5. Natalie, I totally needed this today. Thank you! Sometimes it seems so hard – it’s easy to mutter phrases like “My life sucks” or “I hate my life”, but it really is only a bad day, or few days, it isn’t a bad life! These quotes are perfect, and I absolutely love how positive and upbeat you are. You simply radiate happiness – I’m definitely going to follow your blog! So, hello from your newest follower! 🙂

    1. YAY for new followers!! Hah! Well I’m going through a lot of crap and instead of using that as an excuse to not be happy is dumb. So I want to use my pain and turn it into something positive and help people around me, total strangers, because sometimes the best people you can relate to are total strangers! I’m a people person, I love making people happy. Which in return is like therapy for me. I hope that makes sense.

  6. I’m a pretty positive person as it is, but one of my parents is really sick – it’s so hard to stay positive, but I do have to remember especially that first quote in your blog post “it’s just a bad day, not a bad life”. I need to snap out of the funk I’m in and get back to my regular happy go lucky self.

  7. I love that Thomas Edison quote!! It has always been one of my favorite quotes. I love inspirational and motivational quotes they always make me smile and put things in perspective right about the time I really need to.

  8. Omg Love these!!! I love reading this kinda stuff first thing in the morning!!! I actually have a list on Twitter that is all just quotes, so I always read those. It’s kinda like my morning paper hehe 😉

  9. Interesting quotes. My favorite would have to be “If You Stand for Nothing you will Fall for Anything”. I do like the Edison quote you have featured. That allows you to take negatives and spin them into positives.

  10. I love that quote from Thomas Edison! I really like the quote I’ve been seeing going around Pinterest lately: You are enough, you do enough, you have enough. That always makes me feel peaceful after reading it. Thanks for the encouragement!

  11. I like to look at quote to pick me up! I usually head on over to tumblr as I can find some good ones there! That or I just watch CSI and crochet my heart out! The first one is my fave but sometimes I have to admit… I feel like it’s life! =( But just have to pick yourself up right? =)

  12. Sometimes your circumstances suck, but life doesn’t. You are going to live a good and long life filled with great and terrible moments that you cannot even imagine yet. Life doesn’t always have to suck, it is all up to you and how you choose to live it. I’ve seen better days, but I’ve also seen worse. I don’t have everything that I want, but I do have all I need. I woke up with some aches and paints, but I woke up. My life may not be perfect, but I am blessed. I hope whatever you’re going through passes, you have to keep on trucking, your worst day is someone’s best.
