I was cautiously optimistic about the Prime Video adaptation—and I’m happy to say it not only met but exceeded my expectations. Now, with the physical release coming July 8. Fans can finally bring the Wasteland home on Blu-ray, DVD, or the limited edition 4K UHD Steelbook (exclusive to Amazon).
The series blends dark humor, intense drama, and jaw-dropping visuals in a way that feels both faithful to the games and fresh for new audiences. The world-building is rich, the production design nails the retro-futuristic vibe, and the performances—especially from Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins—are outstanding. Fallout Season 1 captures the chaos, moral complexity, and absurdity of the Wasteland with a style all its own.
This release isn’t just about rewatching the 8 binge-worthy episodes.
